Our Chapter will hold a drop-in birthday celebration at the local VFW Hall (150 Camden Woods Pkwy, Kingsland, GA 31548).
Date – Wednesday, 22 June between the hours of 17:00 and 19:00.
The chapter will have a cake to cut and serve, purchase non-alcoholic drinks for those attending (invitation will indicate the VFW Bar has other drinks but that will be Dutch treat), and propose toasts to boats and comrades lost, similar to what is done during the WW II event. VFW will provide chips and pop corn.
Sea stories will be in lieu of a speaker.
Plan to invite MOAA, SUBVETS, Navy League, VFW, Base Active Duty, and the Camden Partnership along with our chapter members.
