Center for Excellence in Education 35th Anniversary Celebration

NSL members and interested guests are invited to the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) 35^th Anniversary panel tribute to Admiral Rickover from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at the Broad Institute (415 Main. St., Cambridge, MA 02142).  The discussion will be moderated by Adm. William A. Owens, Vice Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, USN Ret., and will include as panelists Adm. Edmund Giambastiani, Vice Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, USN Ret.; William L. Givens, Naval Reactors; Prof. Neil Todreas, NRKEPCO Professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering (Emeritus) at MIT; and Pamela L. Krahl, Capt., USN and alum of CEE’s Research Science Institute ’85.  CEE’s 35th Anniversary will also include a second Rickover panel discussion on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Broad Institute.

Admiral H.G. Rickover established the nonprofit Center for Excellence in Education to nurture students to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
